Architechtural Visualisation

“Flying Robot are who we trust to deliver the visually stunning and technically accurate imagery we need to realise our clients wildest visions” – Andrei Dolnikov, Founder & CEO, Binyan Studios

W

e are innovators and industry leaders in creating extremely high quality specialised imagery for use in Architectural Visualization CGI renders. Our industry leading clients in this field require maximum flexibility in the use of the imagery we provide and as such we have developed a system of media delivery formats and standards that allow them to effortlessly move with the dynamic demands of their clients as projects evolve without the need for costly and time consuming re-shoots.

As well as providing a solution for exceptional quality capture, we also offer end to end pathways including the entire post production workflow. We provide ready to use stitched, retouched and beautifully colour graded imagery with a 16bit production pipeline that maintains every bit of detail and colour information from start to delivery to ensure that our clients are never backed into a conceptual corner.

Whatever your specific requirement may be we can devise a system to shoot and capture to your technical specification regardless of how esoteric the brief may be. From giant gigapixel spherical images, with custom skies and HDRi lighting assets to flying specialist camera systems, lenses and frame orientations not possible with ‘off the shelf’ drone solutions. We have every angle covered.

Timelapse Photography

“Flying Robot ensure we don’t miss a moment of our projects and our stakeholders always have real time access to current progress on any device anywhere in the world. Their time-lapse systems are robust and reliable – exactly what is required in this high pressure, fast paced environment. Flying Robot go above and beyond, working with me to develop innovative interactive systems to market our Industrial Developments” – Luke Ridley, Development Manager, Goodman.

O

ur services allow our clients to keep projects on track, reduce risk to workers and speed up inspection and monitoring processes. Beyond the cost benefits, our services allow our clients to showcase their projects and provide real-time status updates to key stakeholders and their clients. At the completion of your project, our professionally tailored time lapse video production showcases your successful project to your future clients.

Flying Robot utilises a simple, easy to use and intuitive web-based interface to monitor multiple cameras across a single site or various site locations. This client portal ensures you can monitor all of your projects in a single web browser from anywhere, at anytime, 24/7.

Each self-contained remote camera unit (“RCU”) is connected to the 4G network via an integrated high-speed LTE 4G modem and has a 20W solar panel and 13,600mAh battery to ensure a high degree of redundancy. Our DSLR cameras have been chosen for their highest-quality image capture, wide field of vision with professional quality lens.

We use robust anchoring poles, which results in more consistent images and a superior final video production or interim monthly (where requested) and our units are safely housed in IP66 weather-proof housings, allowing them to endure the worst that mother nature has to offer.

More traditional forms of monitoring, like CCTV offer far lower resolution images, meaning they are far less clear or sharp and therefore aren’t suitable for cross-purposes, i.e marketing. All our packages offer 4K solutions, with options across each, so that you can choose one that best suits your project needs and objectives.

When you have a project, large or small, that needs to be monitored and recorded. When you have a need for reliable and consistent output or when you aren’t entirely sure what you need – talk to us. We can customise a solution that combines the best of our services to enhance your project outcomes.

Remote Inspection

“We need to get cameras into the most precarious and harsh environments imaginable, and then we need exacting high-resolution imagery to come back out. Every situation is tough and unique with its own challenges. Flying Robot always manages to deliver.” – Jim Allan, SOTO Consulting Engineers

I

n this emerging field having the latest drone inspection equipment means little unless you know how to use it. The use of our remotely piloted aircraft delivers the outcomes needed by the asset and maintenance manager, in a more cost effective and efficient manner in large contrast to traditional methods.

Partnering with structural engineers, surveyors and asset managers, our inspection services have expanded into the structural audit of steel and concrete infrastructure not limited to bridges, dredges, HV Towers, wind turbines, pipelines, silos, coal towers, conveyors and almost everything in between.

As you may appreciate, with the use of drones and our other specialised remotely operated camera vehicles, we remove the risk to personnel operating at heights and in confined spaces.

Our information capture is a valuable tool to document and analyse the asset as a basis for an asset management plan. This inspection work is then replicated periodically to track the progression of problem areas or at a minimum ensure the asset condition is maintained as needed.

Unlike many off-the-shelf remote inspection tools which only provide analogue SD video, all our vehicles have integrated FullHD 1080p, no latency links to the ground, for both the remote camera operator and client/engineer simultaneously. This FullHD video display ensures specific problem areas are identified against the asset in realtime enabling additional pin-pointed image capture of the area in question.

3D Modeling & Mapping

3D Modeling of spatial data has fast become an essential part of our design, client engagement and communications processes. We require accurate and consistent outputs in a variety of formats for different users of the dataset. Flying Robot consistently allow us to achieve this on time and within budget, assisted by their collaborative project engagement.” – Bruce Rodda, Spatial and Survey Lead, Arup

K

eeping pace with the latest in high end technology developments to be at the forefront of emerging tech and processes has been a mainstay of our mantra since day one. The field of 3D data acquisition and creation is no exception. Using mixed modes of capture including both LIDAR and traditional images we can produce stunning photo-realistic and geometrically accurate 3D models utilising ‘best in class’ software for a diverse range of uses. From the design and consultation stages of large infrastructure projects to inspection and comparison of existing structures and buildings, the uses for this technology are boundless and add incredible value to the interests of a varied range of stakeholders.

About Us

Innovative Aerial Photography

Established in 2012, we are pioneers of the aerial photography industry with a well established team of highly skilled professionals, each leaders in their respective field.

Our principal is credited with the creation of Fox Sports Australia’s FoxKopter, a world first for FullHD live sports coverage by drone. This included national operations inside the stadium and WSL’s Ripcurl Pro 2013 & 2014, Bells Beach, Victoria. The live link used was the first generation of the now popular Amimon Connex digital transmitter. Our drone application for the link paved the way for the manufacturer to acknowledge the potential for UAVs.

Other important pioneering work included using drones as an alternative to cherrypickers, cranes and pole cameras for new development view assessments, view-line photography and aerial 360 photos. All of which is now the norm throughout the property development and related architecture and CGI visualisation industries in Australia.

Our consistency, commitment to and passion for aerial photography ensures we continue to Innovate, Elevate and Create with you!
