Remote Inspection

I

n this emerging field having the latest drone inspection equipment means little unless you know how to use it. The use of our remotely piloted aircraft delivers the outcomes needed by the asset and maintenance manager, in a more cost effective and efficient manner in large contrast to traditional methods.

Partnering with structural engineers, surveyors and asset managers, our inspection services have expanded into the structural audit of steel and concrete infrastructure not limited to bridges, dredges, HV Towers, wind turbines, pipelines, silos, coal towers, conveyors and almost everything in between.

As you may appreciate, with the use of drones and our other specialised remotely operated camera vehicles, we remove the risk to personnel operating at heights and in confined spaces.

Our information capture is a valuable tool to document and analyse the asset as a basis for an asset management plan. This inspection work is then replicated periodically to track the progression of problem areas or at a minimum ensure the asset condition is maintained as needed.

Unlike many off-the-shelf remote inspection tools which only provide analogue SD video, all our vehicles have integrated FullHD 1080p, no latency links to the ground, for both the remote camera operator and client/engineer simultaneously. This FullHD video display ensures specific problem areas are identified against the asset in realtime enabling additional pin-pointed image capture of the area in question.
